Flutter'd Dash

Flutter'd Dash

A Poem by Frieda P

Breath that feels as shards of glass,
kneeling in the dust of vapored stars

fragmented pieces of a forlorn past
abandoned and bereft tracks of soul

haunted in the fear of the night
allusions of a faceless faltered grace

day breaks and tears still tremble
left in the quake of a flutter'd dash

Words escaping, weeping your hurt. Dear you.
'Breath that feels as shards of glass, ~ kneeling in the dust of vapored stars..'
How can words so painful read so beautiful?

You bring such beauty to deep sadness. A great piece, Frieda.

This is quite sad Frieda, joy will come and you write to us about joy too.

this is a winding road of sadness...so expressive...you always touch our hearts deeply with your words.

Light, in one way, footsteps through a troubled soul. Lines in another way full of lambent meaning. You really know how to so this my friend.

shattered more than dreams with this piece, more like atmospheric pressure withering in being to close in a mountainous release of such breath taking poetry..great piece
