Flutter'd Dash

Flutter'd Dash

A Poem by Frieda P

Breath that feels as shards of glass,
kneeling in the dust of vapored stars

fragmented pieces of a forlorn past
abandoned and bereft tracks of soul

haunted in the fear of the night
allusions of a faceless faltered grace

day breaks and tears still tremble
left in the quake of a flutter'd dash

This swirls in me Frieda...really does...
So delicately woven and embraced, thinking of you xx

Poignant thoughts and broken dreams carry on in life no matter what!

The music is beautiful and really helped set the tone. So many poignant images of brokenness... You always break through my wall of consciousness...

It seems as though you're finding your voice again, though I can see that your heart is still heavy. I know that it will always be that way, but it never gets any easier for a friend that has to witness it and be helpless for the most part. Reading this was enough to dampen my eyes today...you always seem to have the perfect words to express yourself in tough times. But you know your friends are right there with you, and will always be there for you...xo

"haunted in the fear of the night

allusions of a faceless faltered grace

Hauntingly beautiful , starry sparkling , loverly fluttering on zephyr wings...:).............

First line, I read "shards of glass" as "sharp as glass." Bit confusing sounding as it is... not sure if just me or what. Thanks for sharing.
