Fall from lace...

Fall from lace...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Simply falling

"
doomsday parade possession's
quicksand all enveloping
trembling in the acid rain
sold your rocks for roll & soul
devil may care attitude's name
decree's snare written on rubber lace
contract'd pretty one trick pony
flashing neon beneath dignity
treasure just the other side of pain
alibi's underground disgrace
captivated in the snake's charm
unicorn approaches from the rear
ashen high heels all go down
simply falling    there is no love

Whoa! the dark underground of whoredom ... from Will and Grace (Grace: "Some might call me .........................kinkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkky.")
the whole thing is perfect, says i ...every word and nuance ...but those last two lines are a knock out.
i watch quite a bit of undercover journalism and news coverage ...several of which take us through the porn streets .... shocking enough but so much more we will never see (being on the outside) i am sure is much worse... you do such a good job with matching pics and song to your work ..always a pleasure to read ... now ..how much do i owe you :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

The last line is just wow. It wraps up the strong poem powerfully. And the title is inviting curiosity, Frieda. Beautiful again!

Jazz'd you enjoyed this one....grazie mille Rich.
Two figures playing the game of lust instead of love, hence why they fall, although no love exists. There are certainly many symbols for ecstasy apparent here, what with the mention of unicorns and ponies and "treasure just the other side of pain". I enjoyed this, well done with this piece

Yes, I would, and yes, I am ;) ahaa!
I liked the play on words of the title it really did set the scene. It has an emptiness to it like someone brutalised and simply sinking and giving up. But watch out for those pesky unicorns coming from the rear my Lady!

Another stream of consciousness write, this one has a darkness to it a cynical kind of darkness. Well done

A little dash of darkness Frieda, but you wear it well. So many great, poweful lines in this one. Brilliant writing my friend.
