Rhapsodic Poetic Pearls

~breathe me

There are times when poetry is just simply, poetry

    words coming together that sing a song or rhyme

  ideal ideas summoned within muse's rhapsodic thoughts 

   more often times about death or eternal life

Love's blindness or universal forgiveness

   pearls of wisdom don'd in a pen's signature 

Grand reasoning of exhilarating proportions

       script'd without fear or apprehension,

             or just fun to roll off the tongue

  Saucy soul sisters serendipitously saunter   

  Bodacious baubles bubble beautifully bound

It's remembrances, past, future and todays

   exalted lovers who cuddle and coo us  

    & those which are the bane of our existence  

Rainbows and stars leaping over cobalt'd blue moons,

       cherished reminiscent of bygone days

Gods, goddesses, fairies and berry, cherry dust

   

Kisses a bazillion miles deep, marmalade delusions,

       hugs that reach across skies, wrapp'd in tissue'd allusions

Dancing upon stratospheres of nectar'd light

 Joie de vivre of pickled posies

   held together with flecks of luminosity's glow 

Apricot and golden threads of an echoes' flow

    indistinguishable like two peas in a pod

  tantamount to polar opposite compulsions

     or scatter'd altered sentiments at random

      tango together to console inamorata's tiffs 

Flamboyant and flashy or restrained, no rules apply

    still playfully submerged on paper

Grandiose finale of rhythms imaginative encore

    a celebration in life's masterpiece of poetic license

I love poems which deal with poetry and you nailed this one, Frieda. I love your alliteration in:

Frieda, to come across a poetic genius like yourself is a rare gem in this vast ocean of words. You describe the simplicity yet complex manner of how poetry is created and of how it affects us all. Whats brilliant about you is you create these masterpieces day after day, without one weak piece. Truly one of the best poets of our time, you need so much more recognition than just the cafe! As a reviewer I tend to concentrate too much on form and style rather than content. A failure, I know, but that´s the way I am. Notice here lines 10 and 11 all use four word alliteration, which I found interesting...noticed too the couplet glow and flow, a couplet in the middle of blank verse.Bazillion is a created word, thought that good too.I would put idea in the plural ideas rather than the possesive in L3 (it is followed by a verb), and I wouldn`t use the dropped e so much. A poem I enjoyed looking at.

wonderful poem about poems and expression.. great word play and rhythm.. It makes me think of love---lost and gained, a cup both empty and full.... and it make me think of really good wine and food... music is nice as well. :)

Ohh dear i will not only breathe with you,i did fly with you
to lands you seem to know so well,poetry,once you let go everything
so it takes over the whole of you and your tongue starts to babble by itself
sings all along like a never ending melody that you wonder how it all came through
i never even thought of the thoughts,they just kept rolling down,full of emotion.like never
showing pictures like from another diameter of life,or death come what may
who cares as long as i sing my whole night and day,let all dance with me
