Bittersweet Coffee Kisses

Bittersweet Coffee Kisses

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Photo prompt ~ Coffee Kisses Sculpture

"
Tea in the coffee grinds
an unlikely pairing
bittersweet melodies
a parody of sorts
as in life,
mix & match variety
opposites attract
doled out of sweet idiosyncrasies
blended together in
 perfectly harmonious synchronicity

As delicious and invigorating as the beverage that inspired it! What an interesting sculpture!

This is just ah. Oh my god. Looking at caffeine in a different way.

Now how did I miss this one...not enough caffeine I suppose or a work filled weekend got in the way. Well better late than never. Wonderful my friend. I believe I have seen this sculpture before and perhaps it was you who showed it to me. Nonetheless...beauty finds your words today and your inspiration. It is true that opposites can attract, bringing new thoughts and visions to one another. What a wonderful feeling.

Amazing my friend

Wow's that interesting and what a sculpture...love the way it is positioned at the bottom of the poem. It's so animated. All my favorite things together, poetry, art and animation including this piping superb write...swift and sweet.

That picture is wicked and honestly, I adore this poem. Coffee and tea are my babies. Mainly coffee but I can't drink it right now... boohoo.

This made me smile. Opposites definitely do attract, that's for sure.

Great one! Really like this short piece. Opposites do attract more often than not. And who says it never works out. Perfect sculpture pic for this too.

Opposites do attract. When they blend, the melange is new, different, and in this case, delightful. Always a pleasure to read you, Frieda. Lydi**
