Imperfection's glory...

Imperfection's glory...

A Poem by Frieda P
"

"
butterfly morphs from beauty to dust
in a mere lunar's month tidings,
evolving from its enclos'd chrysalis cage
bound in its magnificent silken presence,
never fluttering back to begrudge
 the transformation whence it came,
     nor regret its untimely demise
instinctively knows that  freedom's flight,
    encased in gauzy cocoon's trappings
come envelop'd in imperfections' glory

This is quite an eloquent tale of the butterfly that holds true all the way up the evolutionary ladder. Being self-aware, however, it's not so easy for many of our kind to accept the end. Still, there's great beauty in life's design if one chooses to see it.

an amazingly powerful "circle of life" piece done to poetic perfection.

Such a complex journey from chrysalis to butterfly. Their brief time is immaterial, such beauty long outlives the ticking of the clock.

So very much enjoyed this.

I think you wrote beautifully to the image, you've shown us life, death and a sort of rebirth.
