Ignorance: Man's Willful Folly

Ignorance: Man's Willful Folly

A Chapter by Ethan Paz
"

A philosophic poem explaining very little about human life. There is a way out of pain and suffering.

"

Simple and calm

Is the sweet arrest

Of beloved anxiety.

I see you bathing in fear

And you like it.

You feed off of it.

Its delicacy tastes like a tropical strawberry, banana smoothie.

Is the drink bitter?

No? Why do I see your conscience run to and fro?

Is reality actually reality?

Or is reality actually a lie?

Yummm . . . sugar does taste good,

But feel the toothache when left unclean?

The tear wrenching pain will soon follow

Unless . . .

You come to one who cleans all of your pains.

Ha! No! That is foolish isn’t it?

Is it?

You see,

I’m being allegorical.

How is your life?

Do you feel the worries of daily human life?

Feels like fiction am I right?

Walking day in and day out continually

Till that is, you drop in the dust.

Willful ignorance is a vice, my friend.

Extraordinary comes from change

However, I fear some of you are arrested by anxiety.

Come let the Son of God set you free.

This is reality.

Wow. Of all your work, I think I can safely class this as my favorite. Your passion for the Lord reflects in every word you write, and I applaud you for such a wonderful, and insightful write.
Keep it up.

Your passion for what you write really comes through when reading your work. It amazes me that such intensity and feeling can come through a simple computer screen like it has for me. Excellent write!

I love the power driven behind these words. I love how you present as many opportunities as possible for the mind to grasp what your saying. The words are beautiful, but they become even more powerful as you express them through the other media you added. Magnificent job:)

The poem is powerful. We must change our ways in all things before it is too late for all people and life. Photos and your words were powerful. I like when you aim the mind and allow the reader to think. A outstanding poem.

Really great write, and I agree; this is probably the best I've read from you. Crammed with emotion and powerful ideas. Love Hans Zimmer, too. He did the soundtrack for the movie, "True Romance"... I forget the name of the song, but it was a beautiful musical journey. I write to it.

Nice job.

A nice piece. Very well written.. I liked the use of visual aids too, that's something I don't see much of on here.. Unless I'm viewing the wrong types of work.[M]
