My world at peace

My world at peace

A Chapter by Lillian
"

A simple moment that I love to replay over and over.

"

We pull down the driveway and I automatically get the nervous knot in my stomache; even though I am doing nothing wrong.
"Thanks Jordan, this means a lot to me." I say to my friend in the driver's seat. A simple thank you is a very powerful gesture.
Here we are. I am facing the front of his house, knees shaking. All I can here are the cold voices, "She's not worth it. You deserve better. College is big, you can get any girl you want." The vicious words shoot though my spine like lightning. Stinging every nerve in my body.
"I can't do it. can you call him?" This is ridiculous! I call this boy everyday. Why is it so much harder when I am outside his house? I turn to my friend whom sits patiently behind the steering wheel and pulls out his phone. As he places it to his hear, he smiles. "He'll be out in a minute."
After almost an eternity, I can see a body merge out of the shadows. Once the sun hits the ever so welcoming red hair, I loose it and can't remain in my place. My body breaks free like a volano that was dormit for centuries. My shaking knees prove their strength as they lead me into the arms of my love.
I can feel his arms around me. So strong and safe. The essence of his aroma fills my soul, it's the sweetest sent I could ever immagine. His skin, so soft as our cheeks brush against one another, gives me goosebumps because I have waited the whole week for this moment. As our embrace slowly dwindles down, he looks me in the eye and smiles. I love his smile. He opens his mouth ready to speak. I helplesly await any word that seeps through thsoe precious lips so that I can hang on it for a lifetime.
"Hi," he says.
Hi. That's it. That's all it takes. Hi. I'm all set now. I've waited all week just to hear this one little word. Everything's okay. It doesnt matter what anyone says. I'm with him now and my world is at peace.

Ahhhhhhhhh................................ ~warm sweet smile~
This is stellar my dear!
You had my heart in my throat, my palms sweaty, nails biting into my palms.
Oh please let the boy be there! Oh please let him be good.
Ack! I haven't felt nervous about a guy in eons, or at least that I'll admit to anyway, and you had me nervous. Oh my gosh, I felt like a fresh-outta-the school-room chit awaiting her first date.
This is warm and happy and loving and strong.
What a roller coaster of emotions.
You could add more to it, but I love the simplicity of the "chapter" if you will. Just tidy up your sentences and a bit of grammar and its perfect. What a beautiful moment to capture!
