Time Keeper

Time Keeper

A Poem by gabiaimee
"

The Time Keeper, The Place Stealer

"
You are the Time Keeper,
The Place Stealer,
The Taker of my heart.

My thoughts, my mind,
My love, my brain
Was an easy place to start.

You crawled inside
As Darkness does
And made me all your own.

You slowly crept
Into my soul,
My future and my home.

You left your mark
Around this town,
In every restaurant and store.

I can't be here
And leave my thoughts
Without you anymore.

My town is You,
My heart is You,
My memories are your own.

Wherever I walk,
Whoever I see,
I never leave alone.

Very nice flow of thoughts. I like the description leading to the honest ending. You create visions of strange character seeking and trying to interrupt another life. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I loved that the tittle matched well with the poem.
" My town is you,
my heart it you,
my memories are your own," hits the heart. Great job!

Gabiaimee,

First off I really like the structure of this piece and how the stanzas are all uniform. The have the rhythm and the rhyme in this one you wrote. A deep emotional telling piece.
