Endgame

Endgame

A Poem by Eve
"

Looking at current events, it looks like it's endgame for us.

"
Children fed the milk of nations.
Preachers drink the health of the saints.
Leaders chip away the foundations of the world,
Their message writ on ev'ry wave.
The unborn innocents are slaughtered like dogs.
Purity shunned like the pox and the plague.
The sloth reaps the harvest that the wealthy have sown.

A hurricane strikes and devours the coast.
The river swells and swallows the town:
The waters are rising but the famines increase
And the children of the bush want for relief.
The skies are filled with the anger of God
Fires ravage the forested hills
Winds whip the flames as footmen on a battleground.

Look to the mountain -- cry out to God.
Run to the mountain -- the mountain of God.

The world is breaking apart.
The world is coming undone.
But the armies of the Lord are ready and waiting to strike.
