A Moon or Two

A Moon or Two

A Poem by galaxy-gay
"

Shivers

"

I hope this gives you shivers when you read it

And I hope you never and always need it

To get past your little slice of light

Shadowed by dark, by the charcoal night

But I love you you with my whole, fucked up heart

And to me, your painted face is the prettiest art

So I’ll catch a moon or two

And I’ll give it all to you

In the vainest hope that you’ll find that gleam

And the vainest hope that it’s not dark as it seems

Of course it is, of course it does

It always has, it always was.
