Hang Them in Purple for Crimes against Humanity

Hang Them in Purple for Crimes against Humanity

A Poem by Gandré

Man needs no institution for his relationship with the universe, it's on personal level. The one who believes miracles, morality behind hypocrisy, ethics and love within the churches - can't be saved.

he worst of all bad sects

is the one of lies, inquisition
and deceit of the Catholic
Church mess, concealment of
bigotry, sadism, twisted truth.
I demand: hang them, burn them
Like they did with the wise
sweet women, called witches,
I demand: Pope has to resign!
Forbid this nonsense of
rats in fancy robes and hats.

Benedict XVI. urbi et orbi

               under the bridge

In a boat full of water

                        And leaky

He sets the laws: do they

               Apply to anything?

What is his motivation?

For emperors are like cats;

          They also get stacked,

And sometimes, there is

                          No way out.

A note to all:

This has been happening for 50 000 years, rampant in Greece, rampant in Rome; it's still unofficially acceptable behavior all of the world, it's all these do'gooders, in other words, everybody wants to find a reason to insult somebody else.

Because it's society, this what society is; it's hierarchy of insults, of superiority and subordination and criticism and insult and that's how it's always been, all over the world. Because.. we are just a bunch of pretentious animals.

Well, I don't give Christianity any credibility The only reason why we have to suffer of this Christianity is, because we have followed the Roman emperor Constantine who made the Christianity mandatory in 324 BC and I mean, do you think the apostle Paul was not a raving epileptic or schizo? It's obvious, he has a series of fits, if you read a bit of history. Let me ask you this: how do you think people are going to behave if they believe the writings of a raving lunatic? Do you think, there would be something wrong with the people, before they believe this? Do you not see that any religion is pretty much home of raving lunatics? Just take a look. Nobody said to humanity, "look for yourself, seek the truth, just see around you, have the experience"; for they always were busy with their functions and importance and their drugs, crime, they abandoned their children, and sent them to religious schools, the government mandated these schools and gave them credibility, just look at the list of neglect and abuse - this list is kilometer long! And the list ends up with the last person on the list being some lunatic priest. If you are going to put orphans and lost children into the care of a bunch of lunatics - predict the outcome!

And those children, living in families, also have been abused by being sent to help to Father Tra-la-la and becoming ministrants, boys were sent there by families, they still are - then the family feels superior because their son has been chosen; you can go with this forever - but who is to blame?

The whole society is to blame! Not only parents, not only the Church. It's society that is to blame, you will find, if you look into Eastern Europe or Thailand, and the abuse of children is beyond your wildest imagination, who is to blame? It's the rich man, he lives not far from you in his big villa and he has lots of money, he is to blame, he is on the internet, he is buying material, he is exciting himself with this, and he is probably a sex tourist to the Ukraine.

Everybody is too blame. We are disgusting with our petty hierarchies and our petty showing off and measuring everything by possession, importance and power; everybody is to blame! Look at the frigging wacko Josef Fritzl from Austria, who held his daughter captivated for 25 years: Where was the society? And he even disappeared to Thailand for sex tourism for 3 weeks and not wife, not visitors, not society, nobody heard anything? Where was everybody? ...Everybody has been too busy with their own function, gathering their own wealth, busy with their own selfishness. Well, it is just how it is.

Everybody is to blame, but it is just the poor b*****d who is the last on the list, it is the one, who has to carry the can - and the last one should be Pope; if anybody can get to him - but he is bloody slippery! Everybody is to blame.

Who put up with this Catholic Church, with this raving of lunatics? Everybody did. Even Galileo put up with it; he recanted his theory, he was trying to argue that the earth was going round to sun and the Pope said, "No, it doesn't; the sun goes round the earth! And if you don't recant - we will torture you!" And so, he did.

We are all to blame. These crimes which are emerging, are not from this year, or last year, they are from last 5 000 years. Empires and tortures and inquisitions and slaughter and slaves eunuchs, called castrati (they took small boys and cut off their testicles so they could sing forever in the church choirs) - it was 5 000 years bloody vicious hierarchy.

Well, there is only personal solution: The only solution is to become aware. You've got the internet and the search engines, you think that was "child abuse"? You have to look it up because I don't know; as far as I can see it is not that long ago. Search engine castrati and see what you get.

We are b******s with our hierarchy.
We destroy our children to keep our status in our hierarchy, we would destroy their lives for status to make sure that they are clever and mathematical and logical and artistic that they're successful in schools and at work. We talk about everybody is responding to this hierarchical social pressure to be better than somebody else.

It’s got everything to do with everything: it is our reason for living to be able to s**t at somebody else; to be able to criticize all the way down the ladder. It’s the way it is, and don’t think for one minute that it stops at the Uneducated, if anything is worse, if anything goes worse " it becomes just less clever and more physical, it’s become the way we live and it’s become the reason that we live.

We tolerate far worse crime " we actively encourage this. Do you think that children have any rights in China or in India and South American rural areas? There is a mass slaughter of babies going on " because they don’t want a girl child. You're talking about mass murder! And we encourage this: do we have any trade sanctions? Do we refuse in our daily lives to buy Chinese things and Indian technology and orient carpets when there is not a proven sign something like 'hand work of adults'? Of course not, we say, “It’s somebody's else fault.

When it suits our purpose, we ignore the crime! We are all to blame.

All thats left along these lines of argument is then to contemplate whether or not sex has anything to do with society.

"Natural Selection is simply the random alteration of genetic hiccups that subsequently help or hinder that particular genetic modification to successfully procreate over other unmodified, or differently modified branches of that genetic tree. Nothing to do with society..."

Just to reiterate, you contradict yourself in this statement. "random alteration of genetic hiccups that subsequently help or hinder"
"successfully procreate" So what is the natural selector here, what allows for "successful procreation"? The answer is environment. Why do male peacocks attract females with larger more colorful displays. It allows them to "successfully procreate". What controls the length and color pigments of the feathers? Ding! Genes.

As for what the church preserved, works such as Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's, Pope Marcellus Mass. If it was't for those idiot monks, who by the way were among the few literates of the age preserving, hmmmmm written language.

"Christian Western Europe had suffered a catastrophic loss of knowledge following the fall of the Western Roman Empire. But thanks to the Church scholars such as Aquinas and Buridan, the West carried on at least the spirit of scientific inquiry which would later lead to Europe's taking the lead in science during the Scientific Revolution using translations of medieval works." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_in_the_Middle_Ages

i know wiki isnt the most scholarly resource, but hey, im not going to a library for a discussion on writerscafe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Bacon....first paragraph.
You'll see, he was a fransiscan friar=dumb, ignorant, monk.

My point was that the church served as a stabilizing force after the fall of the roman empire. It preserved ideas, and a set of learned behaviors, albeit some of the bad, but they were not all bad, as you can see. A fransiscan friar was big big into empiricism. Weird for a dude that just believes in fairy tales designed to trick us dumb un-enlightened ones into believing in a supernatural force.(I don't believe in god by the way, at least not as a conscious overseeing being)

I think you misread.
If you are referring to the catastrophe the the idea of social Darwinism than yes you would be right, it is a flawed perspective. However, the idea that humans evolved to live in society almost speaks for it self. You don't need to do research, just look around you. If you need the research though, read about Ape behavior. Read about Bees, read.......River Out of Eden (Richard Dawkins). I believe you missed my point entirely. People are social creatures, it is in our genes to communicate, that is also common sense, but if not you can read about Noam Chomsky and universal grammar, whether or not, Chomskies theories are correct or not, they helped perpetuate the idea that language in humans is inborn. I think to contest that would be plain out stupid. Now ask yourself what is the primary function of language--to communicate ideas in a social group. This suggests that humans were in fact social or perhaps pack animals long before we were able to speak, or perhaps even before we were by our definition conscious. Gene activation in fact controls development. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2528649/) Yay for google. Anyways, that takes care of whether or not genes and there for natural selection has a causal effect on behavior and thus on society as well. See my logic. They are all subsets and functions working on various levels.

reply to Mr. Ferris...... Dude...you need to do more research. Natural Selection has nothing to do with societal mores and rules of behavior that govern what is rewarded and what is sought after by the individual in the tribe...... Natural Selection is simply the random alteration of genetic hiccups that subsequently help or hinder that particular genetic modification to successfully procreate over other unmodified, or differently modified branches of that genetic tree. Nothing to do with society...and the rules that govern most of us... The church served no really useful function ever, except in the perpetuation of itself.... It has been a power for conservatism and misogyny always, and at other times positively barbaric. What sort of conservation do you mean? The role of monks writing about the 'world' from their monastic cells having never traveled more than 20 miles from that monastery in their lives? The conservative religious vetting that the creators of music and mathematics and engineering and philosophy had to endure whenever they created new music, or math, or inventions, or philosophy? Ask Galileo...... how beneficent the almighty Medici clan was in the church... Ask Machiavelli... Ask Martin Luther... If it wasnt for the inventions of the Arab and Asian worlds that we borrowed/stole, we would still be purchasing "indulgences" from the church and wondering how the sun revolves around the Earth... Ok, I am just going to say this once more..... There is nothing after we die..... Its a fable, and not a particularly clever one at that.... Its a carny trick to get you to endure the slim pickings you get, and to not go and beat up the perpetrators of the fable.... In this case, the church.... So everyone, please try and be nice to each other and help each other in this life, as it really is the only one we get..... Thats it...school is over.... Everyone go home and fight with their families......

um, i think if you look at the vast majority of creatures on the planet, you'll find that they are all in competition for king of the hill, thats natural selection. People have just taken it into the social realm. That doesn't excuse things like raping kids, but that doesn't mean competition is all bad. Struggling for control over things is just what people do, whether its control over ourselves or over our environment. It can be sublimated productively and healthily. The outcomes such as child abuse occur when there is no outlet. Top business exec.'s use their power to do harm when for many reasons, one of them is when there own status is challenged. Its because they perceive there power or position as an extension of there worth and when you challenge their worth, you challenge their worth than they have to make up for it. They have to fill that gap with something, usually by exerting power and control in places where it does harm rather than good. That doesnt mean the concept of an exec having power can't be positive or is useless. In fact, its quite necessary and is a commonality to every human society, which hints at the evolutionary trends that allowed people to live together in the first place. Even monkeys display this type of behavior which makes me think it was necessary for people to be able to form societies in the first place; a generally positive outcome.
The churches power through out the middle ages had many positive outcomes as well. For one, much of human history would have been lost if not for the church at this time. Yes, the practice of castration was disgusting, and actually you can hear a recording of the last castrati who died in the early 20th century. Many of them, if not all were forced by parents attempting to make money off of them. However, much of music history, and western music tradition was developed in the church. They maintained a level of societal order. It may have been a dismal one, but one that aided in creating a set of behaviors that unified much of europe, and led the way for the renaissance and rise of humanism. My argument is not that atrocities like the spanish inquisition are justifiable by saying they were a means to a greater end. Rather they are the negative outcomes, of a mechanism necessary for humans to live together in society. People need to form sets of behaviors that allow them to form societies who have those behaviors in common. We need commonalities, a sense of identity generated by our interactions with the people around us. We need to feel a part of something larger than ourselves. Anything can be a religion, it is a set of practiced behavior, and is as necessary today as it ever was. The old forms of religion as dawkins would say are memes that are destined for extinction. They are being weeded out by the changing times, but that does not mean we don't still have the need or tendency to replace them. Then answer then is not to ditch the system as a whole, but rather to evolve and take what works and is good while continually chipping away at the bad or outdated.

I was raised Catholic and they taught religion with fear, not love, and that is not who or what God is. The priest get away with all their indiscretions, just as the nuns burying their babies after they murder them. It is horror all the religions that use God as the excuse to do harm to others or to satisfied their means.

Nice to know you are still with cause. :)

ok...its time for humor..... courtesy of Tom Lehr....... sung to ragtime piano...

First you get down on your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want, if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
Everybody say his own
Kyrie eleison,
Doin' the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
Step into that small confessional,
There, the guy who's got religion'll
Tell you if your sin's original.
If it is, try playin' it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
Two, four, six, eight,
Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman,
Ave Maria,
Gee it's good to see ya,
Gettin' ecstatic an'
Sorta dramatic an'
Doin' the Vatican Rag!
