Never Again

Never Again

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet
"

A poem about love and the inevitable result of it

"

The tear rolled down her pretty face
She wanted to jet away from this place

Purple lines, two on a stick of white
A case where there was no delight

Her significant other had compassion
He loved her, it was always in fashion

Two plus one would always make three
A brood is the product of you and me

Whatever the time in the span of life
Love is the constant inside the strife

If that day comes, all hearts will leap
Even though the curve of life is steep

My heart is heavy with the consequence
An astute observer would say I lack sense

One head must keep the other in check
Take action now and forget this dreck!

Run, run now down that snowy road
You are her prince and not her toad

An invisible hand will pick up your pen
A poem like this you’ll write never again

I loved the poem, but I disagree with the last line. You'll find love again, it'll creep up on you and you'll practically drown in it, and write about it. I know because I felt the same way.
