Another World Too Fine
A visit to this world’s finest places
Engages me in thoughts so wide
Imagining the salvation by grace
I think and pray for the lord’s guide
How much longing there is for a glance
Bringing to my heart thoughts of my pilgrimage amid
Fully resolved for life in abundance
The past I forget, in Christ to abide
A glimpse into eternal glory-side
The beauty of heaven to see
Earnestly praying in God to always abide
Having passed through life-turbulent seas
An eternal home fine to behold
There the agony of life ceases but subside
In view of heaven’s glory and streets of gold
Lord in thee I pray to abide
All on the altar laid
In heaven’s citadel to live
Holiness-filled and God-made
Always in God’s presence to live
