Drinking life

Drinking life

A Poem by Ghiasquared

I slurp upon the fountain
of this worlds
Disdain

Languishing upon its sorrow
As it implodes
Upon its treasured gold

You do not understand
the value
nor the spiraling danger

Alone I see the future
Rushing death
Chaotic self worth

We have been upon these waters
Swell and trough
And yet again

And again
We surpass our genius
With mass stupidity

We go with the current
as ease is our way
And our death

Look to Venus
Our last precipice
Which we failed

Falling again
Unending regret
Repeat, repeat

Unending
Again
And again
