My Attempts at Describing Love: First Attempt

My Attempts at Describing Love: First Attempt

A Story by Gillian

August 16th, 2017

I often wonder if love can ever truly be expressed in words. If it can be, is it even real? Or is it abnormal to be at a loss for words when describing love? Personally, I always am. All I know is that when I think about you or lay in your arms, I feel an overwhelming warmth inside. My heart swells and my eyes tear up, you’re everything I’ve wanted. You ignite that fuzzy feeling bitter people barf over.

This love has the power to raise my hopes sickeningly high. Yet, I’m not afraid. I trust you too strongly for that. Part of me truly believes that we will end up together forever, enjoying an eternal love. The soft kisses you left on my forehead agree, too.

This isn't my most pristine work, I'm just trying to document every six months or so how my definition of love changes.
