One Too Many

Inspired by both strength and unity between women.

beckoning emotions but trying to hide from the heart

bruised and broken 

just sewed myself up 

depressing so here comes one too many

don't search but light one again to feel it out

pasts haunt when they are so fresh

gasps of air or flinches late at night 

one too many is not ok anymore

i can't say what it is

my heart breaks beyond him saying I don't love you

but my vow to fight and live beyond me

beyond a single moment to give others a hope

is a chance and there's never too many.
