To my Friend David Jacob Kane

To my Friend David Jacob Kane

A Poem by Ms. Twitch
"

May you be at peace friend, missing you each day but living it as you would have.

"

Seeing you today wasn’t the same from before
Touch the head of a stone instead of your hand
Your laugh and voice from memories in my head

Harder than the first goodbye,
These tears flowing more than that night
These wishes slip and make their tumble
As my wall begins to finally crumble

Your peace is now clear to see,
But your words of comfort will be missed.

You’re filling more than a room with your radiant energy
Sparking up the world just a little brighter

Yes, dear friend, your peace is now clear to see.

Losing a friend leaves quite a void. The pain can be overwhelming, for we feel a piece of ourselves has died, too.

I like the line where you stated "your peace is now clear to see..."

I believe David's soul finds great joy in knowing that!
