No where to go but UP

I am so tired of hearing of new wars popping up, it's insanity, our humanity!!

Taking the next flight out

to Outer Space

like an astronaut

soaring high

into the vast blue skies

rising above the stars

looking down on the earth

from afar

 

To the earth I bid adieu

t'was nice knowing you

but I really shan't miss you

I'm off to seek a new world

one without pain

without war,

away from the insanity

away from humanity

whilst defying gravity

 

No where to go but up!

I've had enough;

of radiation

degredation

mass destruction

sufferring

hate

war

fate

government lies

innocent that die

starvation

taxation

bigotry

hypocrisy

lack of democracy

apathetic leaders

lack of humanity

lack of brotherly love

so i search above

 

Nowhere to escape but up!

up into the wild blue yonder

all these things I ponder

for What is life

it's full of strife

Can we be saved

from our own mankind

Save our soul!

We cry!

As the world passes us by.

past Jupiter and mars.

 

No where to go but up!
