I Died With You

I Died With You

A Poem by Miss Sally Sunshine

Tears Stream Down
My Face

Soaking the Fresh
Turned Earth

Of Your Grave

Hope you will
Come Back

Fades When My
Tears Dry

On Your Grave

They Don't Sink
Deep Enough

They Don't Penetrate
Your Icy State

You're Gone Forever

Never To Return
to my warm embrace

You're Deep Within
The Earth

Forever In Sleep

I'm Above You
With the Living

But I'm Not

I Died With You
