Moments of life

 

Lives all live are in moments

Moments of the past

Moments of that will be, future

And the moments that are

Here now the present

 

We think not of moments

But the moments that bring us

Experience, the experience of life

That brings us understanding

 

In moments we experience all

Some time we feel nice

Some other time not so nice

In rare moments we feel nothing

 

The emotions fear, angry,

Happiness and sadness

Intensify the experiencing moments

Whether we feel nice or otherwise

 

Always we desire and wish for

Having nice ones again and again

Avoiding those not so nice ones

At times dream on past moments   

 

Human nature is so created

To forget almost everything of the past

To provide free mind space for

New experiences of every moment

 

Nobody remembers what happened

Long ago in their childhood, Why not

Many were wonderful moments

To linger on, the pain of birth

The pleasure of affection and love

 

The past moment be lost for ever

Some thoughts though linger on

These thoughts to support experiencing

The ones that are here this moment

 

Some past deep sad experiences

Block our mind to the present moment

Distorting the true nature of experience

That is being offered now the moment

 

 

The past moment is dead and gone

And the future is yet to come

Which is a surprise, let it be

Be positive working towards it

 

Any person can fight

The battle of just one day

It is not the experience of Today

That drives a person mad

It is the remorse or bitterness

of something which happened Yesterday

and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring

 

Let past not stop you

And the futures not worry you

For this moment is yours

Live it full and experience all

We live our lives in sadness. Those precious moments of happiness are surrounded by them like bacterium being swallowed by white blood cells. An interesting look at that life lived. Some of the wording in is a bit redundant and there are a few misspellings or misused words, but overall a decent look at those moments.

I love the theme of living in the moment. That last stanza is awesome. It belongs on a motivational poster somewhere.

This is a capsule of thought that we all have. The flow is moderate and incompusing. The total is thought prevoking but each stanza can stan alone and thayt gives it the feel of structure. Very well done.
