Being true to oneself

Simplest way

Lose it every time

Complicate ones life

 

Many walk their ways

Other’s way isn’t yours

Each claim their own

Unique and better

 

Life is too open

All try teaching next

Each learn as they choose

Match their own pace

 

It isn’t that easy

Being true to self

Hiding up-sleeves

Something from others

 

Principles, you will agree

Most times don’t work

What works become one

 Yet all struggle with it

 

Elders preach child

Not to lie any time

Finding themselves 

Untruthful many times

 

All bluff their ways

Matter of degree

Nothing wrong

It’s life that works

 

Some win bluffing

Making their intent clear

Others play cool bluff

Looking too sincere

 

Arrogant bluffers too strong

Even argue disputing bluff

Extreme they move hurting

 Leave others unease in disgust

 

Bluff leave restless mind

Make someone he isn’t 

Moving away from oneself

Untrue to conscience

You can always getaway

Bluffing to one and all

Blowing win trumpets

Self left naked open
