"Mushroom Clouds in Magic Land" IN COLLABORATION WITH FRIEDA

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

i am missing Ms. Frieda and decided to re-post this poem which we did together .. i am so angry how one very nasty person was able to drive her from the Cafe :(

"
Mushroom Clouds in Magic Land

Tapped upon a mushroom cap's fancy,
to see if the rabbit hole was rumor
curiouser and curiouser
     about the unimaginable avenue,

She opens my mind and
fear grips my colors
from the hinterland .....                   tremors
wink
           and blink
                              and nod

As I sat upon my newfangled gumption
   common sense took a recess,
spoke in rhyme to the tune of absurd
     to my surprise, the scaramouch
                 of a head talked back

my birthing in darkness
          musk and dank scent
knocks        my shroom
head explodes
            collide's scope intense

in his elegant persuasion,
made a date for half past daft
took me on a dip of a mystical carpet trip
alas,  we've lived happily ever after
upon a prime floating island in a cloud

clouds of words
spilling like rough gouged stones in
tumbler's majestic insane
forever now i

re-pronounce her name

beginning and

end... ;)

What a superb collaboration from you and dear, dear Frieda = yours are minds that walk the same space.. perhaps!

There's so much in this piece, the colour and highlights take the reader into a world of bewilderingly spaced.out somewhere. The phrasing you've used is another language, a magic not to be translated - and who would want to do that...all of us!

Lewis Carrol would undoubtedly want to join the two of you in another collab, happily sharing his enlightenment via any means - even holding the breath and flying off and away with the daisies. . Brava and brava again.. Loved this. Great musical accompaniment, by the way... ..

"Off with the mushroom head". I feel like I just took a stroll with Alice, took a couple of hits with the caterpillar and chased a white rabbit on to Grace Slick's front lawn. This was so very good. It is hard to imagine this was a collabortaion. It reads as one voice, one far out voice, Great job E. and Frieda P.

It seems the kiddie books have grown up, and are whirling together n a bit of psychedelic mist. So much here to love and to ponder - wink and blink and nod - genius!
Somewhere, Lewis Carroll is smiling...
by the way - I made it to half past daft a long time ago... in a land far, far away...

"my shroom head explodes"

with either poetic thoughts that feel like they are on LSD...or

i am just getting curiouser....as to what that "half past daft" feels like...

i'll tell you when i get back.

It's actually quarter to absurdity now jacob, but we'll let you slide, glad you enjoyed the show...
Wowsers...I'm glad I waited till my headache was gone to venture into this rabbit hole...from start to finish, this had - and still has - my head in a swirling swivel of childhood on an acid trip...Mrs.R calls me Dali...I've just been out-Dali'ed...

I'm never sure what I'm gonna get (aside from a phenomenal poem) when I click on a new collab from you two, but I know I wasn't expecting this...chapters of my childhood that I thought were dead in my memory were revived (wink and blink and nod? really?) and I was treated to some of the best wordplay you two have ever concocted...I don't like quoting from collabs though, I think I've mentioned that before haha But you both are well-represented, and this is my favourite one to date...can I buy your magic bus, or at least rent it for a bit?

Always a pleasure kids :)
frisky frolicsome fantastical (avoids the obvious f word) fluttery romp of a poem this is. there's actually a lot of meat here. It says more than it 'says' in places - mutlilayered madhatterness
calloo callay.
Which one of you ate all the oysters and where is that cat?
Found this one delightful.

The phrasing and images in this one sure blows my mind!... wow you two!!! what a collab!!! have to admit, think that is the first time I have ever seen "curiouser" used... made me giggle for some reason.... admit I had to look up a word or two in dictionary with this one.. wicked write... wheeew... I know my mind is floating in a fuzzy fog, but this magical carpet ride amongst these word clouds had me trippin for sure!!! HELP!! what a ride!!!
