Alone spinning in mist... Will be honest, am never really a fan of cut-up style presentation with poems... Yet this somehow conveyed the mist feeling in my mind... The timing it creates when read... Also exemplary... Usually it detracts, this adds... Will admit, I skimmed video, then got stuck watching because i like dancing, hah...

I like the play on the words, peer, pair and pier. Essentially we are all alone, even with our shadow. I enjoyed your poem and the video, and your interpretation.

Possibly they could be personifications of our 'soft side' and our 'hard side'. 'But as for your poem (very beautiful), although we all might be spinning on our own in the mist, we are actually never alone. We all have an 'internal world', which I am becoming to realise more and more, is full of characters and colourful entities.
Have I read too much into your poem?
PS Is Jamie a girl's name as well as a male name? Who are these dancers?

There is something so privately romantic about your words in this one, E. A couple in the mist in love and not caring about the world....heavy sigh. The video is mesmerizing.....truly. So very lovely to read and watch. Lydi**

Read, lost in the unravelling of your words.. and they drift like seeds and seeds on a breezy beautiful day.. truly, really, love this poem.. think i'll just lie back and dream every second of it.
What a video to go along with it.. but, in all honesty.. love the sound of your words alone, even more.

I wandered the words slowly, with the music playing. How beautifully painful it seemed, with the shadows of the dance all around them, the spinning, the movement, yet somehow disconnected. Together and yet alone. Breathtaking.

It's always a joy to visit your world, my friend. Always! :)
I like how the last word adds more depth to the poem, makes us focus on their relationship...they seem so happy, pirouetting and dancing, but even when together, each of them can't help but feel lonely...
