Days at an end

Days at an end

A Poem by kelly

The days at an end the suns going down

Animals hurry to their homes in the ground

And sleep till they wake to new mornings light

Then today's lost in time never to be found

The days at an end birds desend from their flight

To rest in the trees for the rest of the night

They dream of tomorrow's sun under tonight moon

Sailing through the sky like a runaway kite

The days at an end sort of ending to soon

As if a minute ago it was just half past noon

But the winds of time blow to carve our lifes course

Constantly change and rearrange like a deserts dry dunes

*loud applause* I LOVED this poem. I especially liked the line about the "runaway kite". I thought the whole poem was great overall, though! :D
