You

You

A Poem by B

I spend an hour; you spend a day.

I love a moment; you love a lifetime.

I watch the stars and make a wish; you turn that dream into a life of reality.

I breath in your knowledge;  you wait until the moment I am nearly full to unveil the truth.

I travel across the world, and throughout time itself, to find you and your truths; but you hide from me.

I fail to complete my lifelong mission, and in my dying moment you are there to reveal yourself and all of the truths you carry.

I was wrong, you will never be explained, there is nothing here in this world that we can discover that would bring your likeness into a material or even astronomical understanding.

I am grateful.

You saved the best for last.

:: very beautifully written... i think it's this gratitude that makes us who we are... it's actually what inspires us to accomplish what we can... it's our fuel...

:: it's good to read you again... :)
