Something Different

Something Different

A Poem by Saudalihe Gypsy Baker
"

No amount of words would quite fit to explain to you how it feels when you have had my life, and you are told, that you are loosing something else.

"
Crack the door,
    listen for noise,
       walk inside.
She sits on the bed,
    the other on the chair,
       I stand in the door.
She looks grim,
    the other leaves,
      and I take her seat.
Something different,
    something known,
      something unfamiliar,
         in her gaze.
In her words,
    as she speaks.
On her mind,
     as she reveals.
Questions
     left unanswered.
Wants
      never to be acheived.
Hopes
      failing me.
Feelings
      lost.
I am hollow
    and confused.
Wondering
    how do I feel?
      will I ever heal?
