Tragedy

Tragedy

A Poem by H.
"

But I can't give it back.

"

I gave

my love

a golden ring

but lost

a finger

in its forging.

Mm, what is this? This is a form that swells to accomodate fewer words, and I could feel the history behind this ring grow until the piece just... well, felt bigger. I love it. I'm going to look up the form so I can get back to you. I'm curious to see what else you can work into this type of piece.

I've thrown away the map, but can't let go of the wheel. I'm a musician. I've been writing poetry for much longer than I've been playing, so it's odd I consider myself as such first and foremost. .. more..
