Struggling for sleep

Struggling for sleep

A Poem by Garrett

In the shadows of old thoughts
Lie our deepest fears,
The ones that won't go away
When you shed some tears.
When the time comes.
In which you wake up.
There will be no real-life nightmare.
All the courage sums up
And about nothing you'll care.
Strong as an unconscious teenager
All you acts will occur
Behold your own limits
And you'll never become poor.
The only thing I wish
Is to light all my dreams
Eating my favourite dish
Juicy peaches with creams.
