A dream I had on the dawn of Aug 15.

Lady Galadriel Visited Me To-nite

 

In her grace, soft-spoken tender

Lips evoke:

“If there is one thing in the history, forever, which you would want to change, what would it be?”

O Lady of Celeborn, in his silver name

What would it be, that whilst the moon and the Star cast shadow upon

In the history of the everlasting folk?

Is it enough yet not?

I would want changed.

 

But could you? O Lady of Lorien,

Change the courses took by

History in his mercy, our names are but dust

Could you, and your silver ring, forged

In the bosom of the starlight of the Elves,

Change the course? Nay,

You are but tempting

You are but taunting

You are but testing…

 

O Lady of Hope, Lady of Nightlight!
