No One Will Be There

No One Will Be There

A Poem by HamonoAkira
"

Another poem I wrote way back in grade school.

"

When the light fades

And no one dares
In high tide wade
In twilight fares
The wild cherry blooms
The shamrock roses grow
The shadows creep upon the walls
And I can't sleep, it follows
I stand desolate
In this lonesome world
I look around and found
No one whispered a word.

A very good poem that gives this reader a real sense of what it means to be alone.

Though this was not written for the contest itself,
it fits in with the different color scheme which I like.
That, and sometimes we drip with lonesomeness.
Thank you for your gentle entry.
