He loves me, he loves me not

He loves me, he loves me not

A Poem by Hannah Estar
"

a 100 word poem with no words repeated about unrequited love

"

Every single day, pains grow stronger
How can I fight cruel torture longer
This horrible devotion binds, ties me
There’s no use trying to resist or flee!

My love for him lives on, doesn’t die
A heart of glass will try, fail, cry
He does not see, cannot perceive
Such suffering, he’s so naïve.

Teardrops stain stiff comfortless pillows
And careless sorrow freely, swiftly flows
From bloodshot, swollen red eyes
Into anguish ridden, callous gray skies

Look only at her; ignore these wet tears
Which reveal mine saddest years
Filled with lost unrequited affection,
Always seeing hurtful, bitter, grim rejection
