just keep your undies a "safe" distance from each others or your uptight , rigid neighbors will make an issue of it.... i think the one line works very well!

I am a very warped and tattered soul, but I will tell you that this for some strange reason made me think about "dirty laundry" and how we all have it. Is that weird? It is lovely as a writing on a familial or loving relationship, and the thoughts of wind through freshly washed clothing, too. My mind is very frightening sometimes.

Okaaay - this was written for a ' poem in one line' challenge. I was trying to convey the closeness of married life and the way our lives are entwined in all ways. I could think of no better image of domesticity than clothing on a line. of course it could be seen as airing the dirty laundry. Thats the beauty of poetry - it can evoke so many different responses. Thanks for reviewing
