A Stygian Ballad's Hymn

A Stygian Ballad's Hymn

A Poem by dan nacario

When seraphs toll the bell for thee,
Frowning Styx seem to smile at me,
The air of its wandering stream,
Sung in Stygian ballad's hymn,
" Is it the end that I had seen? "
That rest upon porcelain's green,
Oh! Thy sweetest desire left me!
(When seraphs toll the bell for thee)
Mournful cries shall echo and sing,
(Oh! Sweet Stygian ballad's hymn)
Sing! Oh sing! When darkness o'ercast,
Fair empyrean that never last.
