Tears of Incubus

Tears of Incubus

A Poem by dan nacario

Let the lilies bloom in winter
And the autumn live in summer.
To rot the hour in time and age,
So send the day to mournful page.

Hear the paean of lark at night,
The emblem of Icarus' flight.
Steal the tears of yesterday's dream,
Drown its sorrow in crystal stream.

Let the lilies bloom in May
Like the autumn that lived today.
To have a glimpse of stars asleep,
That silenced all the sounds of weep.

Make the worries rot like the rose,
So lonely in the eyes of foes.
In far off hill so proud it stood,
And sent to death the dreary mood.

thanks..
The words you chose for the poem were amazing; beautiful, talented piece. Remarkable flow, and I love the commands given in the first line of each stanza. Nicely done.
