Acid and Flash

Now hours have been passed,
Or may be years ago,
She told, I don't like,
When on the road,
Flash of light, from a car or bike,
Make my face so blingalicious,
Monsters eyes anatomizing the expressions,
As if to hold the feelings of soul,
Faces are not souls,
But souls have faces,
A day, this flash of light on face,
turned into Acid,
Award for refusal to a demon,
The face, the soul,
The little earth and my little sky,
And all those dissected feelings,
Collectively burned,
The orbits of living,
To dance, to chirp, to joy, to achieve,
The background and foreground aspirations,
Are only to hide,
Only to hide life,
I crave, yes I crave,
Only for medieval Justice,
A face for a face,
A soul for a soul,
And Acid for the Acid .

Author's Note

Acid attack on women are most cruel crime,, we have seen many incidents, I believe only medieval justice is the justice in this case.

An ugly man may still go far in the world of business, finance, war - the worlds of men. It may be a shame but, it is not the same for an ugly woman. Even Medieval Justice will not equalize for men and women are not equal, we are not the same. Woman was made to nurture man. Man was made to protect woman. We are both failing. Our society crumbles. Everyone pays. Unequal payments.

Thanks for addressing this burning issue in such an effective way. There are no easy answers to such questions on how to help those who face such attacks and their face get distorted forever. I am not sure if the medieval justice will be of much help. May be it will give solace to her heart. We can only proactively stop such attacks from its origin. The male mind has to be tamed. Only right place is home.
But you know everyone is chasing money and look what we have done to our society and most beautiful thing given to a man- woman.

An acid attack is certainly a most reprehensible thing. I don't know if medieval justice could be served in the century, but it certainly would solve the problem. "Blingalicious" is not a word I am familiar with, but I like the purpose it serves.

Such men are consumed by evil. Yet, evil answered with evil is evil still. I don't know what the solution or punishment should be. But, we cannot allow ourselves to be made over in the image of any purveyors of evil by resorting to "medieval justice."
