Why Do I Write?

Why Do I Write?

A Poem by Mir

Why do you write?

Someone asked me one day.

I thought long and hard,

not quite sure what to say.

"Why do I write?"

I thought to myself.

That's a good question.

I choose it over everything else.

I write for myself, not for anyone else.

Day and night, I never fail to write.

I write when I'm inspired.

Mostly happening late at night.

I write to feel emotions.

I write because it's fun.

It's exciting to have no limitations,

for what your writing could become.

Writing is my passion.

I could never be without it.

It's who I am.

I don't know who I'd be if I never found it.

Yes, this is a very good poem.
Again, because it came from your heart it says a lot, it tells us about Miranda.
Writing lets us know where we are at, and overtime it shows us where we came from. This is very insightful, and inspiring. good job!
