As You Were...

As You Were...

A Poem by Heather Rodwell
"

No clue whatsoever. The words just sound fun together.

"
It's just another way to hell
Covered in disastrous excitement.
No-one can hide the truth
Quite as well as I.
Fairness in the distance
Shatters like a vase
In a concrete car port.
I'm feeling this
It's insignificant.
It makes my brain implode.
A rose bud disintegrates
And my heart
Palpitates
With a strange sound
Thudding in my ears.
I see it all
In that one second
Of consciousness.
