The Deepest Pockets

The Deepest Pockets

A Poem by Travis Lawrence

We will lay solace

in sun and pellucid stars,

stretch the sore muscles of wind

and rain to the west,

capitulate to the profiled atmosphere

and breathe to the deepest pockets,

to smile at the sky with modicums

of wise innocence, garnered like

the floating water glissades.

I was going back through some old stuff here and found this amazing review from you. It reminded me that is what this place is all about. So I thought I would drop by - and I was not disappointed - this is an exceptional write -We will lay solace
in sun and pellucid stars,
stretch the sore muscles of wind
and rain to the west,
I just read that over and over again and savored each word.
