Why not You

Why not You

A Chapter by J. Viands

I would like to ask you what is it your hiding?

Behind those beautiful eye’s of yours

I see you feel a lack of acceptance

A black sheep I suppose

Your pain and suffering is clear

But that is all I know

As for something you don’t

I would prefer to watch you fall from this lack of will of yours

I find it worthless to this world

But what if change was real

By means of a personality somehow being transformed

Then what would your future hold

If you knew sometimes when you’re dealt a bad hand you just have to fold

I implore you silly girl to just let go

Stop wasting that wonderful brain of yours

Just put away what hurts you most

Then maybe I wouldn’t stand back and watch you burn

I promise you its best for everyone

So why not you

I love this! Honest questioning of the actions of someone you care about, with advice that may not be taken but you have to put it out there. Enjoyed reading!
