A simple Tanka

Rain touching my skin
Seems making me neat and clean
It's washing my tears
Hiding all sorrows and fears
Like a disguise they can't read.

well, thats' really a nice piece, even i love rain too. Yet, there's warm days has been started, n warm waves're blowing still outside, sun's shinin', birds're chirpin', n as i just read it out, i really felt about rain. Your thinkin' about rain's nice, even i was just about to make such kinda piece on same tittle, but i could find that what should i gotta write n from where i gotta start...
well, your pic.'s good as well...i loved short poetry;s to read n write couse they save my time...lol,anyway, well written.

I'm not quite familiar with Tanka. Well, not just yet:) Guess I'm gonna do some research. As of the content of the poem, I liked the thought you were trying to convey on here. Rain literally washes dirt from our body and the weariness of the soul as how tears alleviate the burdens of the heart. Good intention, good write.

Just...beautiful in its simplicity and purity.
I love rain too. All the colours seem brighter after the rain. And it smells so fresh.
It feels indeed like it can make us feel "neat and clean".
