Poem 28. CONSTRUCTIVE or DESTRUCTIVE?

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

Everybody is a critic

"

Everyone of us has his own ability.

We give our best to improve this dexterity

We enroll in a course so that we move ahead

To enhance  this talent, our own competence.

A student is a student who would take some lessons.

A teacher should be ready to give the solutions

A student has a teacher to give him the tests

Having an open mind, should accept  the tweaks.

I am a student in my mind and in my heart

I am willing to learn if somebody will impart

I will be a good learner, an open-minded one

I will try to end my course  with the victory I want.

When criticisms come along the way

I will entertain them all with my understanding

Sensitive minds will cry out of distress

Progressive minds will shout out of success.

A person will change if he will allow himself

To do all those things he has not done yet

But how will he change if he refuse to accept

The help offered by others, thinking it was not needed.

When somebody says “it maybe good if”

A polite suggestion which of course constructive

It’s different from “you’re not good in this”

Which totally degrading, and so much destructive.

But, hey! We are all teachers and students

We can teach each other, we can offer our help

We can learn from each point, we determine our mistakes

Acceptance is important, really we’re not perfect!
