Poem 33. Giving Up

Poem 33. Giving Up

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

is sometimes the right thing to do

"

I am done, I have to stop!
Why should I expect too much?
I've been hurt and I am trapped
Lone into this  caprice spot.

Am I weak if I give up?
No! It is not what it means.
Letting go? I'm strong enough.
I can do it, no more pains.

I am strong, I am, I am
I'm giving up for the best
I am strong, I know I am
I'm a newborn, I'm at ease!

i once experienced a situation wherein giving up was not an option. i'm glad that i never give up. but it is always practical to pick our own battles. if giving up would let you feel renewed as a new born, then perhaps giving up is the best thing to do. Nice dhaye!

giving up does mean you let go
You just had enough of that situation
To walk with the end of your new begging of joy,
But giving up on God
Life ask for your breath

Giving up here means letting go of something which is not for me. When we like or love something but.. read more
giving up and not giving up is the enigmatic trap that we all trapped atleast once in our lifetime ....
the choice and the outcome is hardship of our battle ... so never regret whatever you chose ...
but holding on to something that would never be yours is just putting yourself in the ordeal ..... sometimes best to just let go ....

Giving up is at times a release into something more... I gave up drawing to pursue writing... Yet... have I really given up or just taken a long hiatus from the work... At times... a reflection in the mirror of self is harder to realize than face value...

i don't know how people imply that giving up sometimes is a sign of weakness giving up is one of the greatest strenghts take for example a relationship when you love someone and you grow an attachment you find yourself making excuses for their bads you find yourself accepting il-treatment because you believe this to be right because you owe them this moral obligation it becomes co dependency to get yourself out of that morbid stock holme syndrome one must fights the very tendency of their heart so giving up is harder than actually not giving up in some cases :)

Giving up can sometimes be an act of deliverance I suppose. Recovery from anything dismal. Liberation. I liked the feel of inclination on this write. Good job!
