Poem 43. VAGUE

Poem 43. VAGUE

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

those which should not be kept

"

I envisaged that I am walking...
        Unshod
        Undressed

       Broken.
I'm carrying my cross...
       Heavy
       Long
       Rough.

I woke up crying...
       Hurting
       Enduring
       Wounded.
I touched my face...
       Desolation
       Sadness
       Emptiness.

I lied again my body...
       Trying
       Praying
      Hoping.
In my next waking hours...
       Numb
      Tearless
       Vague.

I like the use of words. Create vision and thoughts using short and one word statements. I could feel the struggle in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
