A Confession To The Wind

A Confession To The Wind

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)

Dear Wind,

It's been so long since we met and became friends.
No, I mean, you became my friend and treated you as the best.
I really mean it. You don't know how I was thankful
for that friendship that we had. I idolized you
and valued every word from you.
I was asking myself if what's wrong in being a friend.
I cried for so many hours, days, weeks and months
and like a fool, I dreamed that someday I'll see you
in this small world of ours.
That time, I was calling you Rain,
for every time I remember your name or the picture of you in my mind,
there comes a heavy downpour here in my heart.
But you've been so cold-hearted.
I died.

But somehow, an angel came and brought me to life once again.
He said his name is Rain. I learned so many
lessons from him. And oh, I was surprised with the truth about rain-
that it doesn't always mean pain. It can heal. It can wash the soul.

So I realized your name shouldn't be Rain.
That's why now I shall call  you Wind...

We can see friendship in so many ways and be friends even with nature and the natural elements. This was very unique and creative...:)
