Poem 67. WAITING

just another thought

Wearing my blue dress

I sat near the window

I look again at the wall clock

It’s only 5:32 PM

I have to wait for more hours

Then I smiled

What am I doing?

I am waiting

Ah, I need persistence...

Or else I won't receive a gift.

Another of yours I've already read and came back to. This is interesting and reads like a scene in a movie, so easy to imagine, yet sparking more thought and wonder... feels a little different than your normal but that's always a good thing with writing ;-)
