CLENCHED (Rhyme)

The words come hot like summer days
Which later end to part our ways
For just an hour 'til two days
Our hearts endure the hardest plays.

Though young at hearts like what they said
We do not come that sad on bed
A simple word to heal, to mend
Will make us smile, then war will end.

Oh, how each look like big dumbass
We always laugh at each faux pas
A second to throw words that slash
A moment still could mend that gash.

A hug that binds, a kiss that seals
We always come in two for meals
Inside our gate, though frowns are made
Outside we'll walk, the glare will fade.

Ah, that's our life like rubber band
We stretch, we move just like one hand
We might be fighting, yes it's sad
But we don't keep the fight so bad.

And that's the good that we are tied
We keep on sailing, we both guide
We dance, we sing with these clenched minds
We stand as one with love that binds.
