FOR MARY

FOR MARY

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

For a friend

"

I feel your heart, my dear,
so soft as my pillows
I see it's purity,
it's brightness in white color

I hear your mind, my friend,
your thoughts with no hollows
Remember I am here,
for you I'll always open my door

You plea and cry
for things about your precious love
I know it's not easy
to fall in love in this imperfect phase

I want to hold your hand
and make you feel what I have
I want to claim your burdens
if only I could take your place

I know we are too far
and yet we're close at heart
You told me everything
Those things that make you cry

I thought of wiping your tears
though I know you are smart
I feel  your burden, my dear
And I'm not surprise when you ask why

So with my prayers now
Feel the warmth of my hand
I am your sister by heart
Seeing you cry will make me mad

But, dear, I know you're strong
I know you'll understand
That it's not our will that matters
It is the will of God
.

All we can do is have concern and prayer. Sometimes a few kind and hopeful words can save a life. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

Dhaye, that was a very touching and lovely poem to an obviously troubled friend. I pray everything works out for Mary and I'm sure she is very thankful to have a wonderful friend like you.
