I Write

I  write because I want to shout

And yet I cannot speak

I want to tell some things in me

But I feel I am weak

 

I write because I want to open

To make all things so clear

I do not know if one will find

The same sounds that I hear

 

I write because I want to share

The gift that now I keep

To some it maybe ordinary

But  to others it  could be steep

 

I want to write, I want to shout

I want to open and share

I want to reveal, I want to help

To show that I love and care…

When there's something that we want to share we don't just say it with words . We show them what we see and feel and think. Using all our five senses disguise under metaphor and simile. There's a slight difference between telling, writing and showing. But as writer and poet we do all.

So don't just write
what you think and feel.
Take me where you are.
Show me where you've been
Show me how you feel.
Take me there
and
show me why you felt
the words you are writing
here ...
