Same

Same

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

You and I

"

I walked and ran
In crowded place
I stopped and gazed
At solemn face

I saw your tears
I felt your pain
It crushed my heart-
For what you gain

You looked at me
Then our eyes met
You asked for help
Without regret

You said you need
Is not my mind
But heart that sees
What's hard to find

So I answered
Your breaking call
To help you stand
And not to fall

But as I see
Inside your heart
The pain and gloom
Tear me apart

I sworn to Him
To be your guide
To help you through
And not to hide

To my surprise
You made me see
The light in you
Shining on me

We are the same
I realized
Some good things kept
Be recognized

An angel dear
You are to me
Now I do feel
Now I can see

So let us soar
And go somewhere
Let's spread the light
And goodness there

This is our goal
We have to face
Let's share the love
And be amazed!

' He ain't heavy, he's my brother '....words from a hit song originally sung by the Hollies and indeed, this finely penned, compassionate poem compliments and underpins the clear message, Love thy brother & sister!

A wonderful poem of devotion and magnanimity of the human spirit !

reminds me of the starving children of the world who only need to be loved, for all other things will follow in it's wake

The answer to your question on the Author's Note is actually found on your piece-- we may have different size, shapes, color, ambitions or beliefs but one thing will always be the same: we are here for each other.

Thank you so much, Tom. :)
Dhaye when I first came to WC I saw and read most of your writings but one really stands out and made a first and lasting impression in my heart . I printed that piece of yours for my own encouragement. Its still in my binder as part of my special collection . By the way the title of that piece is "Taking Flight". It made such a great impact and lasting impression on me .Along the course time of me trying to find my own signature style I came across for more great and gifted writers like you in this site and what an influence and difference they have made to help me discover something in me I never knew I have . I thank you and everyone who have been a great influence and catalyst in helping me reach my potential. These people knew who Im referring to.

Then I saw this piece ... And its really evident that I was right with my first impression in the first place . Theres a difference between a talented writer and a gifted writer . Many think they are both the same . The first one does his or her best and perform and the latter minister to a person . The first one do but the other be ..For me this poem is your second masterpiece for it minister to my present need and situation .

Who ever is the muse of this piece surely has some great influence in your life and share special connection . Such person is bless to be selected among many to be in your circle of influence . And for you to be this person's friend is the most precious gift .

Wow Dhaye what a wonderfully uplifting poem, it is full of tenderness and love… we are all diamonds in the rough and it just takes that one person to make us shine like never before.

Was my pleasure young lady.
these days sharing love is amazing...and we are amazed when people do it.

there is not enough around today...everyone, for themselves...it's cutthroat world and we have to be bulletproof...but to find this kind of love, almost where the other person would take a bullet for us, because he or she feels one with our heart...very rare.

beautiful piece.
